Globanet Classify

Most archiving systems can expire data based on some specified retention policy, but many organizations would like—and often need—to go further than this with the ability to selectively expire data based on very specific criteria. For example, they may need to erase specific emails from employees that have fallen off of a custodian compliance list or remove data that has been accidentally archived. In many cases, it is not possible to delete or remove a user’s archive completely; the only acceptable path forward is that the deletion must be granular at the item level.
Globanet Classify (formerly RBIM, Rule Based Item Manager) allows for management of archived items based on changes to any Enterprise Vault indexible attribute. You can delete items en masse from multiple archives following complex rule sets. Organizations have the ability to delete items granularly without having to do an intensive restore, analysis or deletion of an entire archive, risking data loss. Not only is Globanet Classify able to delete by one criteria, but it actually has the ability to put criteria together with AND, OR and sub criteria.
