REVERSE ARCHIVE MODULE (RAM)

The proliferation of email archiving tools often results in the costly maintenance of multiple internal archiving systems at the expense of efficiency and simplicity.

Many companies have no choice but to abandon new features and improvements offered by a new system due to a dearth of migration tools capable of migrating an existing data store from one antiquated archiving system to another.

To help address these needs, Globanet developed the Reverse Archiving Module (RAM) as a means of helping to migrate data to newer email archiving systems, while simultaneously saving resources by expediting the decommissioning of older systems.

RAM copies archived data and places the data into Microsoft Exchange, making it available for re-archiving by the most current email archiving applications without compromising the integrity of the original archive’s data.

Reverse Archiving Module currently addresses archive data from Assentor and SAMS, but other archive systems will be added as newer versions are released. The program can also read archived emails from a local disk drive, network share and CD/DVD jukebox.
