Vice President of Business Development and Client Services

Sam Elbeck is the Vice President of Business Development and Client Services at Globanet, where he is responsible for strategic alliances, international growth and strategic initiatives.  He works closely with internal and external stake holders to help identify new product and services offerings and go to market strategies.  Sam has a track record in forming mutually beneficial partnerships that are lucrative and well balanced for all parties involved.  Sam has overall responsibility for the success of the services projects delivered by Globanet’ s highly skilled technical resources; including designs, implementations, data migrations and many other services that Globanet provides.

Prior to joining Globanet, Sam spent four years at Veritas as a Solution Strategist where he spent a considerable amount of time discussing customer business issues and solving them using the latest technologies.  He was extremely successful in this role receiving honors for helping organizations transform their business practices.  Sam worked closely with customers to design information management and compliance solutions for some of the largest organizations globally which helped organizations take control of their ever increasing data volumes.

Prior to Veritas, Sam spent nine years at IBM where he started his technical career in administration and architecture of messaging infrastructures. He then went on to run a team of engineers that identified best of breed technologies that complimented the IBM portfolio and how best to partner with the organizations for mutual benefits.  In addition he built a team of engineers that specialized in information management solutions and his team was responsible for integrating the solutions into IBM and managing them. Sam carries an MBA with a concentration in Management Information Systems and holds an undergraduate degree in International Business as well as several other technical certifications.
