Globanet CEO, Sevag Ajemian, Selected for TechAmerica Foundation's Big Data Commission

We are thrilled to announce that Sevag Ajemian, Globanet's president and CEO, has been selected to serve as a commissioner for TechAmerica Foundation's Big Data Commission. This is a prestigious honor, and we look forward to the good work the Commission will publish in September.

The Commission is made up of 22 experts and academics, and was formed to examine the issue of Big Data and provide guidance on how to leverage it to address the most pressing issues facing government as well as drive U.S. innovation and competitiveness. It is co-chaired by Steven A. Mills, senior vice president and group executive software & systems, IBM Corporation and Steve Lucas, global executive vice president and general manager, SAP database & technology. Teresa Carlson, vice president, global public sector, Amazon.com, Inc. and Bill Perlowitz, CTO, science, technology & engineering group, WYLE are serving as vice chairs. The remaining commissioners hail from such highly respected organizations as CA Technologies, Cloudera, Dell, EMC, Grant Thornton LLC, NetApp, Microsoft, Lockheed Martin IS&GS and more.
